The San Juan Fair: Color and Tradition in Atitlán
The San Juan La Laguna fair is held at the end of June each year. But before and after, over ten days, there are public activities that become walks through the friendly pedestrian streets of the town.
The most solemn day: June 24
On June 24, the most joyful and solemn activities are concentrated, ideal for capturing the cultural essence of the municipality:

Dawn: The day begins with the traditional burning of more than 200 rockets that announce the festival.

Folk dances: Traditional dances and colorful treats in front of the church atrium.

Processions and parades: Musical tours of various religious and cultural groups through the main streets.

Dance party: A great musical closing enlivened by iconic groups and groups such as Son de Cumbia y Tomás Morales and his marimba orchestra.
